Peer Review

The AICPA requires its members engaged in the practice of public accounting to participate in mandatory practice monitoring programs. The programs are intended to reduce or eliminate substandard performance by CPA firms in their delivery of accounting and auditing services. The programs require firms to undergo periodic peer reviews of their quality control system.
